Time share sales companies facilitate the buying and selling of time shares. Have you heard the concept of timesharing? If you are an avid vacationer, chances are you've encountered it, and you might have been offered a timeshare property in the resort you've stayed in. Major hotels like the Sheraton, Ramada, Hilton, Disney, Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Radisson and Westin are all offering timeshares. But timesharing is not a new concept. Timesharing first came about during the 1960s. A Swiss company established on September 23, 1963, called Hapimag, was the first to offer timeshare. During the same period of time, another company from France called Socit des Grands Travaux de Marseille, offered timeshare property they called Devoluy. Timeshare found its way to the United States of America when a resort called Vacation Internationale started offering their version of timeshare called Kauai Kailani in 1969. They were the first to introduce the point system. The point system allows you to earn points during the times that you stay with their resort. By earning a certain number of points, you gain the right to exchange your property with other timeshare owners within the same resort. Many companies have started adopting this system and with many companies expanding worldwide, your choices of properties you can select from are no longer limited to those within the same area of your resort but sometimes worldwide. The points you earn become a mode of currency you can use to deal with other owners. The more points you earn, the more options you have. |
