Flights: Low Fare Airline Tickets Based on Needs

Here is a list of factors that need to be considered and how to avoid bad situations with these factors.

1. ChildrenIf you are taking children on the flight, make sure you take their feelings and normal routines into consideration. If your children are really active and don't like to stay still, you may want to consider a layover to allow them to get off the plane half way through the flight to run off a little energy or at least stretch their legs. If you have small children that go to bed early and sleep through anything, you could probably get away with having a late night flight. You can purchase low fare airline tickets for either of these situations. If you are looking at a layover, you will probably find a cheaper price overall. Always check with a physician before taking an infant onto a plane. These are a few of the considerations to think about with children.

2. Airport stressIf you have trouble with crowds of people, take a late night flight. Typically you are able to buy low fare airline tickets if you are leaving in the late night hours and you avoid the crowds of people that fly during the morning business hours and afternoon and early evening hours. This allows for shorter lines at security check point. It also helps if you are claustrophobic. My husband cannot stand to be in an airport for long. Even though there is a very large area of space, he gets claustrophobic from having too many people cramped into one place. So, if you are like him and want to avoid this, take a late night flight.

3. NervousnessBeing nervous is very normal when you are about to board an airplane. Numerous studies have been done on the way human's become nervous in situations like this. Hear is a tip, you are more likely to get into a fatal car accident, or get struck by lightening, than you are of being involved in a fatal plane crash. Here is the major thing to remember. Pilots have to go through extensive training in order to maneuver an airplane and learn how to take off, land, and prepare proper flight plans. These pilots have several warning lights, check systems, and other helpful information that will keep them from making an error. If you still are nervous after carefully review each of these thoughts, repeat to yourself that you are perfectly OK. 'I am perfectly OK. I am perfectly OK'' Oh, and don't forget to breath. Once again you can help reduce this fear and get low fare airline tickets by taking a late flight. It is harder to stay calm when there are swarms of people all around you. I get nervous with flight and every time I see someone else get nervous it makes me feel very nauseous. Needless to say I fly only in the late night hours to keep this from happening. If all else fails, have a glass of alcohol, not a bottle just a glass. This will also help settle down your nerves.

4. Time constraintsYou will want to make sure that you get to the airport early. You have to go through customs and security check points and with today's heightened security systems, it takes even longer to get from the front door to your airplane. Make sure you allow yourself enough time to pick up your tickets at the ticket counter, watch your luggage go through the first security check point, go through the second security check point and possible random searches, and finally reach the terminal to board the plane. All of these systems that you have to go through will usually have a line so make sure to account for that as well. If you bought the low fare airline tickets, they are probably non-refundable, if you miss your flight you are out what ever you paid for them.

5. Jet LagJet lag symptoms are horrible, especially if you are going on vacation. You can experience them for a couple days after you arrive at your destination. All you will want to do is sleep. Here are a couple of tips. A couple of days before you are schedule to take your flight sleep as much as possible. During the flight sleep as much as possible. When you arrive at your destination, you might want to consider a short nap. Sleep will help reduce and possible eliminate any jet lag systems. Keep in mind though that you will have a better success rate of falling asleep if you fly during your normal sleeping hours and that is when you can get the best low fare airline tickets!

You are the only person that will be able to account for your needs or your family's needs, so use your own judgment on the flight times and adjustments that you will have to make. I just hope that by reading this article, you understand the kinds of considerations that you should look into before purchasing the airline tickets you so desire.
